Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort
This skiing resort is known for having the longest skiing and snowboarding season. They usually close the season around June and sometimes even the first week of July. This is rather long compared to other resorts that close around April. This also has the highest skiable elevation in the country at more than 13,000 feet. The terrain in this ski resort is amazing for skiers and snowboarders from intermediate to expert levels due to steep slopes and rougher mountains. The most notorious among the locals and experienced snowboarders would be the East wall. This is where the more complicated terrain is present.
If you want a more exclusive feel to your powder skiing, you can try the resort’s own terrain park called the Exhibition. True to its name, you can exhibit and perform live tricks and perfect your powder skiing. For a more modern and hardcore terrain, then you can also head out to the Montezuma Bowl. This bowl has everything from sprawling intermediate runs to more advanced challenges.
